SUMMARY:MCAC Meeting Postponed (April 2021)
DESCRIPTION:The MCAC Board of Directors has decided to postpone the MCAC 166th State Meeting scheduled for April 2021 in Arizona to either Fall 2021 or April 2022. The decision was based on current COVID conditions and the following related updates:\n\nA. On Jan. 6\, the California Dept. of Public Health issued an updated travel advisory to:\n      1. Avoid non-essential travel to any part of California more than 120 miles from one’s place of residence\, or to other states or countries.\n      2. Self-quarantine for 10 days after returning to California from other states.\n\nB. California vaccine distribution timeline to the general public is summer 2021.\n\n C. On Jan. 12\, Major League Baseball (MLB) decided to proceed with Spring Training allowing fans in the stands. Spring Training starts in February and concludes the end of March – a week before MCAC would have been scheduled to arrive.\n\nKeep the faith! We will make this happen. We miss you all and look forward to seeing you.
