MCAC Membership Types and Dues Schedule

MCAC Contractor Members (also referred to as Regular Members) are sole proprietors, partnerships, or corporations holding an active California state license which permits such firm to contract for masonry, stone, tile, marble, terrazzo, caulking or waterproofing. Regular Members pay dues on a sliding scale according to their volume of business; are eligible to serve as officers of the state association; are invited to participate in state association activities and events; receive state association newsletters, bulletins, and other informational materials; and have access to the full range of benefits afforded by the state association.
MCAC Associate Members are individual companies or firms engaged in businesses or occupations furnishing services, materials or equipment to the Regular Members of the association. Associate Members pay dues reflective of their business type; are invited to participate in state association activities and events; receive state association newsletters, bulletins, and other informational materials; and have access to the full range of benefits afforded by the state association.

A member business that provides a professional service related to masonry or general business operations. MCAC Professional Service Provider members include insurance brokers, lawyers, affiliate industry associations, and general contractors.

A member business wholesaler or retailer that supplies tools, equipment, and materials related to masonry construction. MCAC Material & Equipment Dealer/Supplier members include building material stores, scaffold dealers, masonry saw suppliers, and equipment rental companies.

A member business that manufacturers concrete masonry units (CMU), brick, pavers, mortars, packaged concrete mixtures, hardscape products, and other materials used in the construction of masonry projects. MCAC Manufacturer/Producer members include California’s largest CMU producers as well as manufacturers of mortar and admixture products.

The Event Partnership was developed to provide exposure for a company seeking to align itself with MCAC. This bundled package is a unique opportunity for our industry partners to help build and maintain a relationship with our members and the mason industry at specific events.

The Alliance Partnership provides significant exposure for a company seeking to align itself with MCAC. This partnership level contains bundled marketing opportunities in combination with high level and creative visibility to industry partners to help build and maintain a relationship with MCAC members and the mason industry as a whole.

The Key Partnership provides maximum exposure for a company seeking to align itself with MCAC. This bundled package is the most comprehensive of the three partnership opportunities available to our industry partners. The program delivers extensive overall promotional rights and benefits, unique exposure at our events through highly customized sponsorship rights, and exclusive access to our members. The partnership provides the ability to carry marketing objectives to levels never available before while building and maintaining a unique relationship with MCAC members and the association community as a whole.

MCAC Honorary Members are contractors with at least ten (10) years membership in MCAC, have retired from mason contracting, have applied for such membership within one (1) year from the date Regular Membership terminated, and have been accepted for such membership by a vote of association members. Honorary Members are eligible to receive Association correspondence, may be invited to attend regular Association meetings, shall be entitled to participate in Association insurance programs for which they qualify and shall not be required to pay dues for such membership. Honorary Members are not eligible to hold office or have voting privileges.

MCAC Regular Membership is determined by volume of business in accordance with the following sliding scale.
